ABOUT THE TEACHERS

Our names are Wes and Ioana. And we are the creators of Interactive English. We met in California in 2013 where we were both teaching at an English language school. Ioana observed Wes' class and immediately fell in love. The rest was history. Well, it didn't exactly go like that, but you get the idea.

Several years later, we got married in New York City. Now, we now live in Europe with our baby girl, Emilia. We love teaching English, and we are extremely grateful to work and communicate with so many learners from all over the world.

Meet The Team

Wes Weston

I have been teaching English for over 15 years. I received my undergraduate in Business Management from the University of Colorado. Once I began my teaching career, I obtained a TEFL certificate from the University of California at Berkeley and then a Master's in TESOL from the University of San Francsico. I have taught in South Korea, Namibia, the Dominican Republic, and the United States. I have experience in a variety of classroom settings ranging from high school to university to scholars and academics. Now I teach a global classroom online at Interactive English.

Emilia Ciolac Weston

I enjoy sleeping, eating, and taking naps. That's me in a nutshell.

Ioana Ciolac

I have taught English since 2010. Upon receiving my undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, I began teaching English to adults. I then received an MA in History from Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. Upon returning to the US, I obtained a TEFL certificate from the University of California at Berkeley. I taught at a language school preparing students for university study in the US. Currently, I'm teaching online at Interactive English.
